No! Pato is sooo overrated, and who's going to play there if we get rid of Sergio Ramos? Miguel Torres? Bad idea.
I would rather go for a bigger striker a la Toni, Ruud Van Nistelrooy... if you know what I mean? Maybe Gomis from St Etienne? Benzema would be a dream come true. Also, I would rather have Pato than Ramos now because he has said he was unhappy at the club and with coach, and also he has been performing poorly this entire season. That's why I would not mind having Pato instead of Ramos.
Gomis isn't as good as Pato and I actually have high doubts Benzema will ever play in Spain. Last time I read news about him back in France he was quoted as saying that it would all likely be England or Italy that he would go for in a few years because those are the only other leagues that interest him. Also, Benzema won't be leaving Lyon anytime soon unless someone wants to pay roughly £40m, plus an extra 5 to 10 million to kill his special contract to Lyon and then offer him at least double what he is paid now, which is more then anyone currently makes in all of Spain at the moment. Indeed, it will be a staggering cost to bag Benzema.
