"Avalanche wingers Milan Hejduk and Cody McLeod will definitely return to the lineup tonight against the Detroit Red Wings, coach Joe Sacco confirmed after the team's morning skate.

Winger Greg Mauldin also confirmed after the skate that he wasn't suffering any ill effects from his head-first collision with the board in the Minnesota game on Thursday and would be able to play tonight.

David Koci and Brandon Yip, plus defenseman Jonas Holos, are scheduled to be the healthy scratches.

McLeod has missed three games and Hejduk seven with groin injuries. Hejduk is slated to step onto the Matt Duchene-centered line, with Tomas Fleischmann, while McLeod will both replace Koci in the enforcer role and also be counted on to provide energy on the Philippe Dupuis-centered fourth line."
