Passing through a very rocky patch at the moment. Only Kaka is really shining and when he does not produce the goods, the team simple does not deliver.

Naturally the referees have been allocated some of the blame. The Milan web site has a list of valid goals annulled and penalties denied - about ten already this season (i.e. roughly one per game). Actually I'm writing this because what happened last Sunday takes the biscuit: Gourcuff was tackled in the penalty area and the defender whacked the ball away. Unfortunately he mishit, and the ball was sailing into the top corner of the posts for a beautiful own goal - when the ref decided to stop play to award Milan a penalty! [IMG] As if that was not enough, he then consulted the linesman and decided that Gourcuff had dived, so he cancelled the penalty and showed the Milan player the yellow card.

The net result was that he cancelled an own goal and pulled out a yellow card all because of a penalty that existed only in his own imagination. I've never seen anything like it.

The management is really stubborn and refuse to rejuvenate the squad. Carlo Ancelotti has lost his power to motivate the squad like he used to, and his tactics are predictable. Time for a change in June. We need a complete revolution.
