Good news. I never liked Illic. I don't think he is gonna be that good as everyone is making him to be, so I want him out of here.

Why? He hasn't done anything worth being disliked.

No one is predicting him to be a future superstar, so I'm unsure as to what your talking about. He's very raw, but has the potential to become NBA material.. It's not like he's been in the league long enough to be considered a bust. He's played in 5 games this season, with a total of 6 minutes.

He's wasting our salary for nothing.

I don't think he's gonna be good at all. He is just gonna be a guy who comes off the bench and gives you a few points and rebounds here and there, but nothing more. I think we are just wasting our time with this guy. He is gonna be nothing to important to this team to help us in the future.

How? We're the ones not playing him.

What are you basing this on? Those 5 games?

I thought Illic had more potential than Krstic. I think the Nets made the mistake of bringing him from Europe so early. They should have stashed him there like they did with Krstic. Now, it is likely that they messed up his development by having him inactive. They did the right thing about sending him to the NBDL, however, the NBDL is not the same as playing Europe because you have players in the NBDL caring more about their own benefit than players on a European team. In other words, Illic is not developing in the right atmosphere in my opinion.

Another reason why we should release him. We aren't gonna play him, so he is getting paid for nothing.

Not only those 5 games, but also by some of the articles you have posted about him in previous weeks and months. It doesn't seem like he is adapting well in the league he is playing in, so what makes you think he will play any better in the NBA?

I could rephrase it, but Ma3oxuct pretty much summed it up.
