Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin missed Thursday's practice with the San Diego Chargers with a tight hamstring. Afterward, Austin was asked if he will practice Friday, and he said, "We'll see." His status for Sunday's second preseason game is also uncertain. With Austin out, Kevin Ogletree worked with Dez Bryant on the first team. "Just got to see day to day and we don't think it's a serious injury," coach Jason Garrett said of Austin. "We didn't think it was smart to have him go out and practice [Thursday]. We'll see how he responds on treatment [Thursday afternoon] and make a judgment on tomorrow's practice."
