Barring an unexpected twist, the 6-6 shooting guard is expected to agree to terms today with the Utah Jazz, officially bypassing college ball at Texas and becoming the first North Texas high school player to go straight to the NBA. Miles' father, Calvin Sr., said the family received an official offer Tuesday evening from the Jazz, which selected Miles with the No. 34 pick ? the fourth choice of the second round ? in last week's draft. "We'll take the whole night to think about it," Miles Sr. said, "just to make sure everybody's comfortable with it." Miles Sr. said the Jazz offered a two-year guaranteed contract. He wouldn't specify the financial terms, but said it was a little more than the NBA minimum of about $400,000 a year. </div> <div align="center">Source (Subscription) </div>
