Gaby Milito has no doubt that FC Barcelona will turn things around on their travels as talk of a crisis at Camp Nou continues to dominate the press in Spain.

The Argentinian defender believes that the Blaugrana squad are optimistic and there has been no signs of panic after they were beaten by Getafe in their last league encounter.

Despite many players calling for calm, Milito understands why the pressure on the team is so high and thinks that in the end that could help them.

"It is logical that the demands are high when you are at Barça. I think that pressure needs to be there, but what must happen is that we stay calm and do not lose sight of our objectives," he said.

"Our aim is to win the league. We know we are capable of that and that we will have to change the fact that we are dropping points away from home.

"We cannot afford to lose any more.

"To do achieve that, there has to be unity among the players, the coaching staff and the board. That is it.

"From there, you have to improve the things that are not being done well and to remain optimistic because we will bounce back. We have to react now and the coach has our complete support.

"We all know the responsibility we have when putting on a Barça shirt. We are all keen to do well and to turn this around, although I certainly do not see it as a crisis.

"Our bond is very strong and the squad is together and remaining calm and we know things will improve."

"At home we have done very well and all we have to do is stop our bad run of form in away games."

Milito then defended the media criticism of Ronaldinho and believes that the demands on him as an individual are too high.

"Ronaldinho has given so much to Barcelona and he is only human. Also, he is not playing that badly. He is playing well, but the fans always demand that he is excellent," he explained.
