I feel like Miller's first option isn't ever shoot. He is a great scorer because he takes great shots and has a fantastic stroke. Kobe and Lebron may take 25 shots in a game and score 30 points, while Miller can score 20 by only taking 10-12. Shot selection is key, and he rarely takes a bad one.
He has the knock of JUST being a shooter whereas he is a SMART player with great shooting skills. and welcome to S2! If you have any problems or questions, PM me or any of the other mods!
I couldn't agree with you more. Miller has always had the ability to put up serious points, but he never forces his shot selection (like you said, rarely takes a bad shot). I'm expecting 25-27 ppg now that he will be counted on for scoring on the wing with 'Sota. Very underrated player who helps on the boards as well....not to mention he's a legit 6'8"!!! How many SG can guard that kinda height on the wing? Not many!
Miller will get his points in. It's just a matter of what else he will provide for us. I'm so pumped!!! First game tomorrow! Preseason, but still.
