What would everyone think of KP pulled off the additions of Millsap and Rubio?

    A banger/enforcer and a future star PG

In my opinion, we'd have to lose Travis, possibly Bayless....but we would have to keep Blake.

    Sign Millsap to FA with our cap space;

trade Travis and Bayless and Cunningham to Minny for Rubio. (If Rudy stays, Rubio will come play)

    Blake/Rubio/Mills
    Roy/Rudy
    Batum/Webster/Claver
    LMA/Millsap/Pendergraph
    Oden/Pryz

    bake it more!

I don't think Milsap can make the transition to PG. It would be tough.:devilwink:

So you think Rubio would be a waste?

Then let them keep Rubio and we'll take Flynn?

Or do you pursue Sessions in a sign and trade?

Please don't tell me you'd rather see Kidd or Nash....or Hinrich! ouch!

Because Rubio will never play in Minny!

And I don't believe that any other team will offer up anything stronger than Outlaw, Bayless and Cunningham.

And more, Millsap is only 24. He's tough (something we sorely lack!) and he won't command Turk money. Rubio will be fun. He just needs 2 years in the league (like most PG's do) - thus, we'd need to keep Blake for continuity.

Because he'd cost a lot more than we'd be willing to offer. And he'd want starter minutes, like David Lee, and isn't going to be happy playing 15 minutes after LMA.

Houston reportedly offered Battier and Brooks for Rubio.

You have a pretty distorted view on the values of players in the league. Trades don't work that way...

Why would Minny trade Rubio, or Flynn for that matter, for a backup F-who they have plenty of- and a PG when they just drafted 2 who are both arguably better than Bayless

I'd be happy if our capspace brought us Millsap and Rubio. I think it highly unlikely.

Although, if we did that combined with a Joel for Battier swap (HOU really kind of needs a C right now)

    Blake/Rubio
    Roy/Rudy
    Battier/Batum/Cunningham
    LMA/Millsap/Pendergraph
    Oden/LMA

I like Flynn a lot more than Rubio. Sessions is better than him as well I think. I thought Brandon Roy woulld be an average player in the NBA though so.........

They turned it down. Just goes to show you how much they value Rubio.

why? With Flynn, they have no room for Brooks, and Battier is the last player a rebuilding team needs.

I agree about Roy. I too thought he'd just be an average player. We sure stepped in the shit with BRoy! I love this guy. However, unless we get a point guard who can pennetrate, dish ...and shoot - BRoy will become a broken down horse - fast.

I really liked Flynn - from what I saw of him.

IMHO, Bayless will never be the PG we'd hope him to be. He can pennetrate - can't pass - can't shoot from the outside (horrible form and no rotation on the ball...he must drag his hand wrong when shooting? something?) and his defense is suspect - although I think he can be coached his defense (he's got the right tenancity). Basically, he just puts his head down and bee-lines it to the basket with hopes to get off a good leap to the rim.

I really like Patty Mills - he could be a surprise pick!
