Anne Donovan would like to see some urgency from her players. A third of the way through the season, Donovan believes the Liberty is a playoff team, but she has not seen it yet.

"I think that's a good question for them," Donovan said when asked if the team felt any urgency after dropping into last place in the Eastern Conference. "Definitely some of the players that understand that."

Despite a furious fourth-quarter comeback, the Liberty (4-7) lost to the Minnesota Lynx Tuesday night, 75-68, its second straight defeat at the Garden. "I am concerned, no lie, I am concerned," an obviously frustrated Donovan said. "We talk in the locker room. We talk in practice. (Tuesday night) we came back just like we did (Friday) in the Seattle game. With three minutes left it's a one-point game in the Garden. That's a game we have to have."
