Re: Minnesota Veteran: Casey Won't Last the Season http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/432...ast_the_season/ <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>One veteran on the Wolves is already anticipating the departure of head coach Dwane Casey. He said that the team needs "five balls" in order to accomodate the selfish offensive play and that Casey will be relieved midseason.</div> I wonder who this "veteran" might be? But this was pretty anticipated. How about this trade I just thought up: Wolves Get Doc Rivers Tony Allen Brian Scalabrine Celtics Get Dwayne Casey (waived, replaced by Rick Adleman) Craig Smith
Re: Minnesota Veteran: Casey Won't Last the Season Any chance it is KG? I personally don't think so, but if it was I think that the organization better take notice.
Re: Minnesota Veteran: Casey Won't Last the Season probably troy hudson, hes the only one I could ever see saying something like that about his coach
Re: Minnesota Veteran: Casey Won't Last the Season He deserves to be fired for making stupid decisions as coach. One is keeping Mark Blount on the floor so long, while Blount doesn't play any defense or try to grab any rebounds. Smith will be bang downlow, try to grab rebounds, and play physical on defense. They need someone like that next to Garnett, because really, Garnett is not an enforcer like that. He grabs rebounds, and plays decent defense, but he's not a physical player that will bang around alot. Casey doesn't need to be the only one fired, that GM needs to be fired also. They have Mike James and Ricky Davis, and then picked another combo guard in the draft, Randy Foye. Randy Foye when he was in, was looking to score, and keep the ball alot. He was not looking to pass very much at all. Ricky Davis never looks to pass, Mike James occasionally would pass to Garnett, if Garnett started demanding the ball. They have almost nobody to play physical down low, Smith can play, but he's just a rookie and has alot of learning to do. This is quite possibly the worst put together team in the NBA.
