Dana White has given Mirko Flipovic a deadline for making a decision as to whether he wants to keep going forward with his UFC career or if he wants out. “We’re waiting to hear from him,” said White in the UFC 83 press conference this morning. “We told him we’d wait for him to make a decision, but he’s not making a decision. The deadline is pretty much up, and I need decision from him by [today].” Cro Cop is 1-2 in the UFC, defeating Eddie Sanchez, and losing to Gabriel Gonzaga by knockout and Cheick Kongo by unanimous decision.
I hope he continues to fight. Any chance that he leaves for that company in Russia, in which Fedor is in.
gotta wonder what happened to him. He's either lost the heart to compete or he's off his cycle. If he leaves the UFC and fights in Japan and looks spectacular I think we'll have our answer. Personally I want to see him come back and fight and regain his form.
I don't know how many fights he is under contract for. Usually the UFC signs guys for between three and six. His contract may be over, and that could be the reason for the delay. I doubt the UFC is going to throw lots of money at him again after seeing him sleepwalk through his first three bouts.

He's at like 18months service thus far.</div> He's really dragging his feet if that is the case. Two fights a year isn't enough. I mean, one big win and he'd be in line for a title shot. It doesn't take much. Hopefully he isn't discouraged.
Mirko's camp has reportedly responded to Dana's comments with shock today. Mirko is ready for any fight and is willing to face anybody, including Big Nog, supposedly.
