WTF? Who is that announcer? He says Mitchell was "the aggressor" when the video just showed Brooks purposely punch Mitchell in the nuts.

Reggie Miller ... pretty on par with the rest of his analysis ... just because you were a great player, doesn't mean you'll be great at being an announcer

That being said, I usually like Kevin Harlan as a play by play announcer but he completely missed or ignored Brooks' role in this and that role is it would not have happened if Brooks didn't punch Mitchell in the junk. There is a reason why doing something that's distasteful or out of bounds when in any sort of altercation with someone else is called a low blow... it's because that's bullshit unless you think your life is on the line.

I think Mitchell should be playing in his next game and I think Brooks should be suspended for the next ten.

I am guessing since Mitchell jumped up immediately and showed absolutely no signs of the "punch" hurting him would keep it from being a long suspension. Granted much like Draymond, Brooks has a sneaky/dirty way of flailing his arms when he falls.....which I hate. But the reason it escalated was that it was Brooks who did it. If Dame did the same thing to Mitchell, Donavon would have gotten up and run down the court.

did Draymond Green even get suspended one game for the half-dozen times he deliberately kicked guys in the crotch?

like Draymond, Brooks knew exactly what he was doing. He plays on the edge of the line; unsurprising that he will cross the line at times.

Grizzlies play dirty as a team, honestly. Remember just 2 days ago when Dame was tripped and got his 7 point possession?

I agree with @HomerLovesKoolAid, as punishment, Brooks should be forced to play for Portland.

Mitchel should have given him the GP head but.....
K Malone was famous for kneeing guys in the nuts going for a layup.

Hell no ... keep that trash away from this team. I'm cool with a guy that has a little more fight in him than we have now but Brooks goes over the line way too much!

That was Reggie acting like the manager of a heel in WWE Wrestling. "That wasn't an eye rake, it was a perfectly clean turn buckle smash."

Reggie originally kept saying that it "wasn't his job" to read Brooks mind and that he thought it was accidental. Dumbass!
I'm a Duck homer and I can't stand Brooks. The goofy hairdo and the Backstreet Boys beard are nauseating. He's a terrible shooter but doesn't realize it. He had the nerve to say no fan has the right to engage a player on the court, but loves to talk shit at the fans whenever he actually does something good.
He's the love child of AJ McLean, Grayson Allen and Jimmy "mouth of the south" Hart...it was a threesome.

    oh go eat a napkin

I heard the Memphis announcer interviewed last year going into their series with the W's. He said that Brooks's nickname on the team was Dylan the Villain. He's definitely their shit stirrer.

During a playoff game back in 1999 Karl Malone elbowed Brian Grant in the chin and the refs called a foul on Brian Grant. I remember Brian getting in Malones face and giving him hell. After that Malone kept his distance from Grant and I believe that the Blazers ended up winning that series.

Any of you guys remember Danny Ainge or John Stockton?

Needed to wear a cup around them. An accidental nut check was always a possibility. They might even bite you when no one was looking.

Austin Rivers clubbed Mo Bamba with a right hook, then did a coffee grind on his head. But we're supposed to think Mo Bamba is the tough big man presence the Blazers need to trade for, so last night's scrap isn't a popular talking point in Portland.
