NBA sources say Mitchell's blowup Tuesday with starting point guard Rafer Alston in Cleveland was the last straw for many of the players, who are beginning to tune out his confrontational coaching style. "It's really gotten out of control," one player agent told ESPN. " I think the players are losing respect for him and the way he's handled things with Rafer. If he's not careful, he's going to lose the team." </div>Source Like I said before it is not just Rafers personality that we have to worry about, but also Mitchells as well. I do not like the way he is dealing with the team and it will only result in a volatile locker and overall bad chemistry. Any thoughts?
Can you fix the link please? It doesn't appear to be working. I hope to God that everything can get settled soon b/c I sure as hell wouldn't want a fourth coach in four seasons. Mitchell's a rookie coach so times like these aren't out of the ordinary when you're on a losing team. As long as he makes it a point to change his confrontational style, then everything should be fine in due time. But I guess now I can understand where Rafer's coming from..... hopefully these two can make amends b/c the coach and the point guard absolutely MUST be on the same page or else the whole team falls apart.
