I'm taking his advice to heart." </div> http://www.dailyherald.com/sports/bulls.asp?intID=37990115
It's a nice article to read really. It's nice to see Micheal giving advice to the young people in the NBA. He's always did it either on or off the court. I bet Jamal was suprised but I'm glad he did what Jordan said because if he didn't them 42 points would'nt be there for him IMO.
I bet he was star-struck...hehehe...but it's really nice to receive a call from MJ...it makes you wana do better...
Yeah, I know how much Crawford love Michael Jordan, and getting a call from him had to be great. It would make me want to play great again.. and get noticed by the great one himself.
Maybe MJ can work with him in the off season. It seems like kobe game became more mature after he started playing with MJ in the off season when Mike retired in '98.
I would be so happy id cry if i gotta call from jordan. If Crawford works with jordan in the offseason , without a doubt he'll be allstar material.

But if he's training guys who wanna be the best...If they really want to be good, they'll want him to go hard on them and at them while practicing. He can teach the swingman position better than anyone I can think of, because he did it all: jump shot(w/ quick release, turnaround, fadeaway, you name it), driving, post up game. The list can go on, and if Jamal learns from him, as a big point guard or an undersized 2 guard, he can still greatly benefit. I think guys like Kwame were babies not to soak up what MJ was dishing out. Its kind of like what Karl Malone said once, everyone wonders how an old player maintains their excellence, but the ones wondering are the ones who never stay late to workout or work on their games. It was like that with Jordan too. Guys who responded to Jordan's pushing - Scottie Pippen, Ron Harper - got better. Those who didn't, well, look at Kwame now. Doesn't look like Michael Jordan was the reason he wasn't producing. Besides, Jordan never expected people to do what he could do in terms of performance. He just expected them to work as hard as him and to compete as hard as him. Anything less was intolerable.
Who's this michael jordan u guys are talking about? Oh number 23, how i miss that guy....i wish michael came 2 chicago instead of the wizards, what the hell was he thinking? but anyways that should encourage crawford to do better, even though right now it's not showing, JC i still have faith in u buddy...
I don't know about that, but I think he will be a good player. He will most likely have to step up as the scorer on this team. He is capable.
