MJ: "We should go deep in the playoffs" Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan talked to 700 of his team's best customers Friday night in a town-hall format, and he told them something they were delighted to hear. "At minimum, we should make the playoffs," Jordan said. "And I think we should go deep into the playoffs." Say what? Jordan laid out his theory to some of the team's season-ticket holders in a 50-minute question-and-answer session that was part seminar, part pep rally. He believes the Bobcats have gotten better from within after last season. Because the team's core has now been together longer, it will click more effectively than in 2009-10, Jordan said. Last season - the team's sixth - the Bobcats made the playoffs for the first time but then were swept by Orlando in four games in the first round. The appearance by Jordan was part of a broader effort to get him more involved in the community and with the fans. The team also launched a page on its website this week where people can ask him questions directly.
