    I don't think it's a big deal, and I think ESPN skipped the "probably" in that quote, typical.

    Everyone knows LA is out of the mix for Cano anyway, they have enough payroll and Kershaw to deal with.

    I did hear the commentators during game 1 of the NLDS between LA & Atlanta state that per Magic Johnson if they had to put more zeros in Kershaws contract they would do so.

    I expect the Dodgers to be a heavy, serious bidder for Cano. Magic didn't get into this to stop short of putting the very best players on the field. Even if they win the WS - they will still do it IMO.

    ...according to Magic, they won't. But I think Magic has also stuck his foot in his mouth.
