MLSsoccer.com, which is redundant, has some pretty good content going these days since they brought in some new talent to run the site. They're doing a 24 Under 24 about the top 24 young players in MLS. Here are the articles: 24-21 24. Dax McCarty - M - FC Dallas 23. Roger Torres - M - Philadelphia Union 22. Jack McInerney - F - Philadelphia Union 21. Kevin Alston - D - New England Revolution 20-16 20. Will Johnson - M - Real Salt Lake 19. Juninho - M - LA Galaxy 18. Chris Pontius - F - DC United 17. Teal Bunbury - F - Kansas City Wizards 16. Tony Tchani - M - New York Red Bulls
I'll reserve final assessment for when I see the whole list, but I can tell you right now that Kevin Alston is waaaaaaaaaaay too low. He has a terrific future and will be a big factor for the US National Team in 2014 and 2018. He's naturally a right back, but has played the left and done it relatively well. Despite his epic failure on the first goal in the all-star game, he's much better than he was rated.
