The MLS Players Union has released their annual salary report for the 2010 season.

Beckham is highest paid at $6.5 mil, followed by Henry at 5.6 mil and Marquez is third at 5.54 mil. The minimum salary is 40k, up from 12,900 in 2007.

I put this out as something to consider when critiquing the level of play in MLS. When combined with the salary cap and other roster restrictions, its astounding that MLS sides can even compete in the Superliga.
