Maurice Evans has decided to exercise his $2.5 million player option for next season. "There are not a lot of teams out there giving away contracts," Evans told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Tuesday night. "I'm satisfied with my deal even though it's undervalued. I'm still going to go out and do my job." "The players are going to be in a tough market with so many players available," he added. "I'm not going be one of those guys searching for what I already have." Evans will be a free agent after next season. Source: AJC
