I guarantee that Mobley's days as a Rocket are coming to an end. I think that Mobley is the problem with the Rockets chemistry. He is preventing Yao & Francis from reaching Super Stardom. As of Feb 19, the "Cat" will take his quick first step out of Houston. Just my 2 cents!

He works hard and adds greatly to their defense. He's like the small PJ Brown for the Rockets. He is great support, he puts in all effort for someone of his age. He contained AI, that's enough to say he should stay.
Even though I foresee Mobley being traded in the future, it sure as hell won't happen this year. He is playing well, co-captain of the team, best friends with Franchise and most importantly, the Rockets are winning. He comes to play every night and I have tons of respect for this dude. As much as I'd hate to see him go, he will but it won't happen this season.
I gotta agree with franchise3. Mobley's too important for the Rockets to dish him before the end of the year, especially now when they're well on their way to a playoff berth, the first since Cat's rookie year. They may dish him after the season, but if they do, look for them to expect a lot in compensation, either a defensive 2 or a rugged 4, or both.
Mobley is one of the most underrated players in the league. He's very underpaid for his talent. He does whatever is needed to win, it would be a mistake to lose Mobley.

He'll likely start in the game again this year, and I also consider him a superstar already.

He's their best 3-point shooter and one of their best perimeter defenders. His shot selection has improved greatly and he's someone who can break down the defense offensively, which is a rarity on this Rockets squad. So, maybe he will be included in a trade (everyone but yao is pretty much available), but it wont be due because of his play.
uhhh Mobley and Francis are not best friends ... Mobley had the chance to leave Houston before and i doubt he will ever leave unless he gets traded
No Mobley and Francis aren't best friends off the court is what i meant. Even if u guys think they are ... they aren't. Mobley's best friend plays for the Toronto Raptors. And No They aren't even best friends..... Mobley if possibly would get traded it would be for another SG who is really under paid some1 like Micheal Redd who is also under paid
Mobley isn't screwing up the chemistry in Houston in anyway. I just checked the rankings over at Yahoo and Mobley is ranked 25 spots higher at this moment. I don't know how much this means, but Yahoo ranks their players by stats.

Bottom line is, Francis and Mobley are close friends. Mobley wouldnt have re-signed here if Steve wasnt gonna be here, and vice versa.
Oh yeah, franchise3, this year i dont think Mobley is gonna be traded, no way! He is still too important and now that ROckets are not playing as well as they could.. there will sure be that kinda day in the future but not now
