Believe it or not, my wife and I actually had this very exchange last night: Wife: "They won't hold a lead--they want to give all their fans heart attacks, don't they?!" Me: "Well dear, there's a reason they renamed the Rose Garden 'The Moda Center'." Wife: "Um, wouldn't an insurance company have to pay for all those heart procedures?" Me: "Sure, but don't let facts get in the way of a good joke."
True, but more importantly, she was also completely into the game, and is actually pretty fun to watch a game with.
