Ok...i know many people may not agree with this, but i believe that Moiso has a lot of potential that could be very important to the Raptors. I think he deserves another chance to show it because everyone is basing his performance only on 2 or 3 games. Every NBA superstar has bad games, just look at Carter. The pressure that Moiso recieves from the coach and his team to do well in limited minutes only makes him more nervous and really hurts him mentally when he plays. I think he deserves the same chance that Lamond had (and blew terribly). I say give him 3 or 4 more starts with at LEAST 30 min of playing time each. If he doesn't give out an average of about 8-12 pnts 5-8 rbnds over the stretch, then i'll be convinced that he is a disaster of a player. Opinions anyone???
I agree they should let him have a fair chance, But you know the association is a business not a daycare. Moiso knows where he is and what he has to do, which is perform like he did last year in the playoffs for New Orleans.
That's true...but sometimes players need to have the comfort in knowing that they will get some minutes every game, whether they play bad or not, so that they can feel relaxed when they play; not strenuous and cautious of whether or not they will make a mistake. *can anyone tell me how i can put a pic underneath my name???
I don't think Cleveland wants to do that. PLus, i think mosio is the "big" player the raptors are looking for. I think Bosh should be back coming off the bench, becauuse he is getting tired and sore playing in a 82game scheudule and against tougher and bigger players. I think Mosio can provide some much need rebounding and height. He can block shots, he has shown us, and i think he cna avg around 7- 10 boards a game, if he gets the minutes. I think the only part he needs to work on, is his intenstiy, and the 10-15 foot jumpshot.
v_carter15 go to User Cp and select the Avator and upload a pic form your cpu. And v_carter15 i used to play like that but if you worry about that stuff on the court you are toast. i look at it this way, your coach doesnt know what you are thinking or how good you think you are all he see is the frustration and anxiety that you display on the court. Which is not what any coach looks for when they are looking for there starters and most definately not the people a coach would want to back up there stars such as Jermaine Oneal.
I think he should get 15 minutes off the bench every night. His only problem is he is lost sometimes on the floor but once he gets used to playing consistantly he would be a nice backup center.
Actually lotta people know Moiso is good, at the beginnin of this season, he was sick!! He was good nuff to make everyone forget about Rafer. I love his energy and how he attacks the basket all the time too. I think wit more minutes given to him,(15 min, like Kid Canada said) he can be much better.
I think the problem with this guys is that people concentrate on what he could do more than what he's actually doing ! .. he gets caught in the hype .. which came in the Philly vs Hornets series last year .. he's so athletic and strong .. he just doesn't take full advantage .. I personally don't blame Coach Kevin for sitting him out !

I guess...Honestly though, how much could he have possibly done? He's getting an average of 8 min. and posting less than two points and two rebounds per game. He can play, but the bottom line is that if he doesn't produce in the minutes he gets, he won't continue to play. And I'm not necessarily talking points or even rebounds, just the small things that don't show in the box score are important. Make a hustle play, block a shot in a key situation, rally your team with some enthusiasm. Anything. He hasn't done much of that lately, therefore KO is keeping him on the bench. This is a point in his career when Jerome needs to decide what he's truly made of. Either he starts to produce more consistently, or he goes to the NBDL or overseas to make a living. I hope he steps it up and ends up sticking with someone, he has NBA talent.
ty Startellis and yeah Showtime, you do have a very valid point in that people should be looking at what he's curretnly doing...not what he will or might do in the future. However...a player who is drafted 11th overall in this league should NOT be permanently placed on the bench for 2 or 3 bad games.
The only reason toronto signed him is because of that 10pt performance last year in the playoffs. He has been a disappointment so far. I do not see any reason the Raps should give him a chance. He should be thankful. Look at Bateer!
Bateer may look strong, but he's slow, very careless, and not very skilled in the post. This was all shown when he was given the task of guarding Shaq at the Laker game a while ago.
