Not only does MNF move to ESPN after 35 years, but NBC is back in the NFL with the Sunday Night package formerly at ESPN. Normally, I wouldn't mind that much. The thing I am a little concerned about is that the league's comments that the Sunday Night game is now their marquee showcase. I really like Al Michaels calling games, and I assume I will be missing him. The thought of Phil Simms on Sunday and Joe Theismann on Monday doesn't sound appealing. MNF Moves to ESPN
I have to agree with you Cowboy... it's not exactly the best possible scenerio. I'm guessing if NBC doesn't step up and have a kick-ass crew that calls the game well, the contract won't last long. CBS is the worst, so hopefully NBC will be a step ahead... (fingers crossed )
Since ABC and ESPN are both owned by Disney, maybe Madden and Michaels will move and call the Sunday Night Games? Personally, I think this whole deal is disappointing.

I think Madden & Al will stick around Theisman will NOT be doing the Sunday night games I hope. I won't miss Mike Patrick either. I wouldn't mind if NBC hired Paul Maguire. NBC will have to hire someone. Pat Haden & the other putz who broadcast Arena games simply won't do IMO
Bob Costas is under contract to NBC. Might one of the great announcers of our day, do the Sunday night games?
so wait, im not the only one who doestn like the ESPN commentators? good. id prefer al micheals over any of the other ones.
