Jamario Moon swore up and down that offence was nothing he was even thinking about, but given the opportunity at an open dunk from midcourt on Saturday night, Moon couldn't completely pass up the chance to show a little of his own style.

Moon went up with two hands and came down with legs splayed looking somewhat like a Michael Jordan tribute. Turns out it wasn't.

"Playing in the United Center, I had to bring back an MJ moment. I guess," Moon said before correcting himself. "MJ or Scottie (Pippen). That's who I pattern my game after so it may have been a Scottie Pippen dunk. I wouldn't say MJ. My teammates didn't like it. They told me after I should have given them something nasty. Right now I'm just trying to work my way in. I am not trying to do anything spectacular, just do the simple things and work may way in. Later on if those opportunities present themselves, I will make the most of them."

    The Toronto Sun

I'm not going to lie, when Moon was on that breakaway, I thought he was going to do a 360 or some crazy dunk.

Man, im loving Moon, especially as a starter. He gives us a atheletic wing man that can block shot, rebound and get some steals. He kind of reminds me of Shawn Marion in a way.

I really hope he keeps his starting position which I think he will for now.

If he can keep up this pace, he'll get himself a nice fat, guaranteed NBA contract soon. It was a pretty nice dunk but he could've let loose a little on it. I guess it shows some respect and restraint not to do something crazy. Good on him.

Sam was playing the matchup against the Bulls when he decided to play Moon... The line up will change frequently, according to the match up at hand. Who knows, you may even see Humphries start games too! But, yea... Moon has proven that he deserves to play in the big leagues!! Big Congrats to Moon on the 2 year deal!!

I can see it now, our Starting 5 against Utah:

    PG-Derrick Martin
    SG-Juan Dixon
    SF-Jamario Moon
    PF-Kris Humphris
    C-Maceo Baston

    Derrick goes off with 10-10
    Juan with 6- 3's
    Jamario with 20-15-5-5-5
    Hump with 20-20
    Baston with15-15

I love it. That is the perfect line-up against Utah. Great post! Lol.
