I think it's unlikely both of them become perennial all stars but with their talent and the fact that both of them seem highly coachable, I do think both of them will have at least 1 all star game appearance and maybe they're like Jrue Holiday and it's just that one or two times they get voted in by the coaches. I think Shaedon has a chance to be there a lot. If he puts it together his style is so much fun that I think he'll end up voted in by the fans year in and year out. I guess the same could happen for Scoot too but it's most likely that both of them just end up borderline all stars that get the nod a time or two in their careers.
I think Scoot has a better chance just because of name recognition. Casual fans know who scoot is, and I bet outside of Portland Shae is a unknown. Fan support and name recognition are a big part of getting to the all star game.
Sharpe’s insane dunks are the kind of thing that get you votes. He just has to be more consistent with his scoring AND we have to win more.
I think it is Scoot. He has much more personality and you can tell how obsessed he is with improving. Kid just has that it factor and I think this offseason he makes a jump.
You know it’s funny, I remember when people got all hot and bothered when some of us suggested that Dame was better than Roy. Not saying Sharpe will do it, but it’s possible.
I dont see it. Dame is better than Roy, but it's sad we didnt see more of his prime for a better comparison. Roy wasn't even my favorite Blazers during that time. I was an Aldridge guy and sided with Andre Miller. But Roy could take over games. Kobe said he was special and he was. I dont see Sharpe ending top 10 in mvp voting in his career. This is the year Sharpes gotta take that step. Otherwise we are gonna max that guy on potential.
Kind of surprising to think of; We've never seen Scoot or Sharpe play at an age either Dame or Roy played in the NBA
