Scoring points and grabbing rebounds should not be Morris' sole objectives, Ekstrand advised. "It's pretty simple," the consultant said of the approach a player should take in Chicago. "Play hard. Well, scoring points and rebounding wasn't his thing last season- 8 points and 4 boards a game isn't cutting it as the starting center. Chuck Hayes, the undersized power forward at 6'6 averaged 8 rebounds a game. Morris is lazy when playing defense and often fails to block his man out. Morris needs to work on a jumper of some kind, because the one he has right now flat out is pitiful. I feel that 1 more year of playing college ball with Tubby could help Randolph out a whole bunch, but from what i've heard, Morris' dad is already talking with agents. So Morris is as good as gone...
