Moss admits to occasionally smoking marijuana on Real Sports throughout his NFL career so far.

Correction...Moss admits that he has occassionally smoked pot during his career and still does 'occassionally' during the offseason.

Still wrong, but the degree of severity is not as bad as others are making it out to be.

Like Moss & Ricky are the only 2? I don't think so.

Is it a chronic problem? Only time will tell.

No kidding. The NFL is full of pot smokers, hell the world is full of pot smokers. Moss smoking pot is no big surprise and personally I don't see the problem with smoking it on occasion either.

I don't see what the big deal is. They are HUMANS. Moss and Williams are just more opened to about doing it. I'm surprised he would say something like this. Maybe he needed to take the spotlight of TO. Either way Moss is the best WR in the game now talent wise and the league can't suspend him unless he tests positive for it.

exactly who cares? People everywhere smoke pot, and the fact that hes never been caught by an NFL drug test kinda shows how not serious this is.

I guess there's a huge difference between admitting to it after getting busted, and admitting to it otherwise. As I recall, he got busted at Miami which ended his chance to play there. Not much of a revalation at this point in time.

Besides, dope smoking RAIDER players aren't anything new, or even news. [IMG]

I am pretty sure he got busted at FSU. Then he transfered to Marshall.

Marijuana isn't in the same league as heroin and cocaine as far as being dangerous, but all three are still considered narcotic substances and are all illegal AND against NFL policy, both.

My whole thing is, if you're making $10 million a year to play football, the least you can do is follow the rules. There's plenty of time to light up when your NFL career is over. And judging by the aches and pains all ex-NFL stars have, that would be the best time to do it.

Being a role model (whether you want to be or not) is just the icing on the cake...

Now that?s high brow humor. :cheesey:
Maybe he needed to take the spotlight of TO.
Oh, like TO has friends that?ll take the heat off of him. [IMG] Doubtful. [IMG]

If I had (or needed) a bong, I would have knocked it over laughing Kenn.

I stand corrected. It was FSU.
Being a role model (whether you want to be or not) is just the icing on the cake...
It can be a reward or a bane. It?s all a matter of mindset and maturity. I don?t expect coddled athletes in their early twenties to have a handle on either.
He made it look okay to smoke marijuanna, which is a really bad role model
He made it look OK? Bogart made smoking cool. Pete Rose made it cool to bet on baseball? There are plenty of ?role models? in the world who have done more along those lines than Randy. Just look at the recording industry? starting in the late 50?s. [IMG] Be a role model. Don't demand that someone else be one... unless they are elected.
I heard Pot destroys brain spells and affects your spelling skills. [IMG]
And it gives you daim bramage.

He probably has gotten caught after the 3rd failed drug test is when he gets a 4 game suspension. If he fails again after his 3rd he's out for the season. He was already busted in Minnesota for having pot in his car. The only reason he didnt get in trouble with jail time because it was a very small amount. Pesonally I dont care if you smoke pot or not.

Since the NFL won't tell, and Moss and his agent say he isn't, what makes you so certain that Randy is in the 'program'?
