I saw this morning where the VIKES are looking at MOSS bieng a trade option for them to see who, if anyone, they may get for him. What do you think about this VIKES fans? I think he will not go anywhere but just the thought alone may have lit a fuse.

Have you heard the latest rumor? Moss to Miami for Chambers, Ogunleye, Madison, and draft picks. I hope they don't trade him. It's being reported in the Minnesota papers this morning.

That's crazy... First Manning gets $1,000,000 and now Moss might be traded and we know that if he is, it will be for the house... and the kitchen sink!

That would be an awesome trade for the vikes. Corner and D-line help along with a young receiver that has never really had a qb that could out throw him. Chambers would have a monster season with culpepper. I'd do it a heart beat even without draft pics. With draft pics I'd say that is a no brainer.

I don't know if I would do that...Moss could easily become the record holder for every major receiving record in the league. How stupid would we look if we let him go. Besides, with 33 million under the cap, why can't we just buy ourselves a Sam Madison (or maybe Troy Vincent or Bobby Taylor) and a decent D-Line while keeping the best receiver in the league?

ya moss may break every record but if that doesn't lead to a title then who cares. I personally don't think either moss or culpepper will ever win a championship but that is just my opinion. Both great players just don't see the attitude going in the right direction.

Do you think Culpepper's attitude is bad?

I personally think they both have their attitude problems, just at opposite ends of the scale. Moss says whatever comes to his mind, but at least he's honest and doesn't sugar coat things. Culpepper on the other hand says what he thinks he should be thinking, which is usually positive but not honest.

There is a lot more to the team than one players emotions. Get a good shut down defense and the Vikings will be impossible to stop.

Well I think the rumor was just that... the Dolphins are probably going to release Madison anyway, so the Vikes would never trade for him, they would just wait for him to be released. Now, if we want to talk Viking trades, how about our first round pick for TO? Can you imagine the game plan that would be needed to stop TO and Moss? Couldn't be done! I'm a dreamer... And I can't stand TO anyway, but it's fun to think about [IMG]

I agree but when a team loses a couple it can be one mans ego/attitude that can crush a team and turn a bad strech into something worse. See T.O. last year. If would have quit complianing and held on to a few more balls they might have made a run for the playoffs and garcia would still have a job.

As for culppeper I don't see enough press of him to have good opinion of his attitude but at first glance he does seem to call people out on field/sidelines every once in a while which is something I don't like, but it could just be the small sample of games/highlights I've seen.

Now they say that the CARDINALS are interested in MOSS as well, not that they have anything to offer, but how ironic. The team that put them out of the playoffs last year( sorry to bring that painful memory back up again VIKING fans as I know you are coming in from the back yard after shooting CARDINALS as they land). Do you think MOSS will be traded or is it just hype?

Everyone is interested in Moss. Oakland called Tice about it, but Al Davis said that after he talked to Tice he realized just how close the two of them really are.

I think it is interesting...the media constantly calls Moss a cancer to the team and a detriment to the team. But when there is even the slightest possibility of him being on the trading block, every team in the NFL wants him.

I think this just goes to show how much the media can take a guy and develop a misinformed image of him. If I were to listed to what the media says, no one would want him on their team.

hahaha i laughed at the idea of moss being traded, just like tice did, if anything hes just testing to see what teams would be willing to give up, hes just screwing with them

if the vikings trade moss off the team, they will not be near the top of the nfc for many years to come, he will almost definitely break most of jerry rices recieving records, NO DOUBT... vikings are crazy to trade him off

I see your VIKES just signed ROBINSON to a 4 year deal also. Will he be a big help to MOSS or are they still "shopping"? I still say MOSS is staying and will for a while.

I think the Moss trade talk is dead. Robinson can have a nice year if he plays the way he did his last 5 games last year. Robinson playing well could really open up the o even more.
