Who do you think is the most boring team to watch in the NBA? And please, let's just leave the bad teams out from the start, no Hawks mentions, Clippers, Hornets...or watever. The team should be at least decent. My vote goes to the Detroit Pistons. These guys like to keep the scoring low as heck, and make it such a chore to watch a game.
I would say Spurs but Manu is exciting to watch. I'd have to go with the Pacers. They are the definition of boring. Pistons and Spurs aren't far behind.
Pistons. Easily the most boring team in the league IMO. Super low scoring and very slow half-court offense. But if it wins games then they should continue.

I'd agree with many of you that the Pistons are the least exciting team in the NBA, but every once in a while their defense is fun to watch. Let's take tonight's game for example. On three straight Heat trips early in the game, the Pistons blocked each shot. I don't care how much more you like offense than defense, you can't deny that a great block is exciting to watch.
Defense wins championships so If you don't find that exciting then so be It. I love nothing better than several stops due to block shots, tough man to man defense. No team that has Sheed on should be considered boring to me. Tayshaun Prince is so fun to watch with his great length and speed for a guy 6'9. Rip's energy and the way he works off screens is amazing to watch. None of that is boring. But hey If you think thats boring so be It.
I absolutely love watching Detroit's defense, so I don't think they are the most boring. I think the Pacers take that crown.
I wouldnt say Detroit,I like watching them put opposing star players through the meat grinder.Their defense is fun to watch especially in big games.Id agree that the Pacers are the most boring team to watch.

Defense does win games (as i stated on my previous post) but just because it wins doesn't mean it has to be exciting. I'd rather watch an old-school no defense constant scoring game than a game where neither team can drop shot.
Defense can be fun to watch. The Pistons frustrate players and that makes the game intersting. They also get alot of Defensive highlighs. Spurs Defense isnt as exiting but they got players like GINOBLI! to give you great entertainment.
I believe the Spurs are the most boring team in the league...dont get me wrong, I have the ultimate respect for them even though I hate their mere existance, but they are great at what they do and how things are done...but its just so boring...
Pistons/Spurs...needless to say, I probably won't be watching too much of the finals if they're both in it. It can't be much worse than the NJ - SA Finals a couple years back but it won't be much better.
A couple years ago I would probably say the Pistons and Spurs but this time around I've grown to appreciate those defensive teams a little more since they are very little of them. If anything, I would want to watch a Pistons/Spurs series more than any other series (not naming the 76ers). The team that I can't stand to watch is the Jazz and Blazers.
I would love to see a Pistons/Spurs matchup in the finals. Two defensive minded teams who actually play perfect team basketball. I think any true basketball fan can appreciate the way these two teams play. As for most boring I would have to go with the New Orleans Hornets.
