Until last Night Caron Butler didn't have a great load of bad games. He puts up decent numbers every night.Brevin Knight always plays his heart out. And never gets noticed for it. The Bobcats our always in trouble when he is out.Jamal Crawford. With all guys in New York trying so hard to score he always remains calm, cool and smooth when hes in the game. He is silently their best player.
Paul Pierce. I think he had the longest streak in the NBA for scoring at least 15 points a game, and it was a pretty damn long streak too. Pierce shows up every night (when he's not hurt), plays his hardest, and always drops at least 15-25 a night, with 5-9 guaranteed rebounds and 3-5 guaranteed assists. Thats one of Pierce's benchmarks, his consistency, and Celtics fans can always bank on him showing up.
<span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS">Jason Kidd, of course. His entire career, he's averaged close to triple-double stats, something he does every night.</span>
Chris Bosh has been pretty consistent. He's been hitting a lot of shots and is like near 20+ points a game. Ray Allen is consistent too. He's a great shooter and can shoot the lights out each game. He doesn't have much bad shooting nights too.
Caron Butler he has scored in double figures every game this season besides one (8 points, pretty close) but he consistently puts up over 18 every game.
Until tonight and his Injury Carlos Boozer had been very consistant. his only other bad games were a game against Golden State were the guard just never gave him the ball, and a game against Minnesota where he got dominated by KG. but KG is an alltime great and Boozer isn't so thats to be expected.Jackie Butler has been pretty consistant as well, consistantly bad but atleast its consistant.
Tim Duncan has scored over 10 points in every single game so far this season. But one guy that never gets mentioned in one of these threads for some reason, is Kevin Garnett. Him personally is consistent every single night...His team might not always win, but that has alot more to do with him having a fairly weak supporting cast. He always gets you alot of rebounds, he always plays you good defense, and he has a great arsenal of moves around the basket to score you points. As of the last few seasons, I think he has led the team in double doubles. If that isnt consistent, I dont know what is.
I just noticed that Lebron has been pretty damn consistent this season. He's averaging 27 a game and he hasn't had a 40 point game yet.
Steve Nash is pretty consistent scoring and passing. But he's also a very consistent shooter. He's shooting 53% from inside and 50% outside. That's pretty dang consistent.Baron Davis is consistent at getting hurt. The Grizzlies have been very consistent losing this season.Gilbert Arenas is very consistent at making some out there quotes.
Jeff Foster - plays his heart outKevin Garnett - 20 10 and 4 every nightTim Duncan - 20 11 and 2 every nightZach Randolph - Dominates every night (but doesn't win)Carlos Boozer - This guy is a 20 and 10 monster this yearSteve Nash - Will almost always have 10 assists and almost 20 pointsDavid Lee - No matter how much time you play him, he will always have his 10 reboundsJamaal Tinsley - So consistentely awful

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (L_C @ Jan 28 2007, 02:08 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Plays his heart out, and still sucks </div>you know nothing.Jeff Foster is one of the rare players who's beautiful to watch. He plays purely for the love of the game. He hustles everywhere.
yeah KG is definately one of tthe most consistent players in the league, he has like 300+ games in a row scoring 10+ points. thats over 4 seasons or so and I think it would be a lot longer too if he wouldnt have got ejectecd in that one game where he threw the ball into the stands
The APBR is working on a stat that tells consistency based on a player's standard deviation. It will be the true indisputable benchmark of efficiency when it is finished. I will post the results when it's finished (don't expect it any time soon)
