I hate it when sophomores are given the Most Improved award. If I'm not mistaken it's supposed to be a natural progress to improve from their rookie year to next year...
Zach Randolph or Mike Redd Zach has looked great in pre-season..put up monster numbers in pre-season...he has straight up dominated.....Mike Redd is a guy I will be watching closely this season....He could be a 20 point scorer this season...21 and 5 is what I reckon could happen with him...He has that chance now with Cassell and Payton gone...Bucks don't have a true star in their team...Redd can become that....He likes to get out on the break and who better to give him the ball than TJ Ford the former Texas Longhorn great Redd is also a great shooter...one of the best last season. As for your choice...Drew Gooden? don't see that happening..not when T-mac is on his team along with Juwan Howard....Gooden will be the 3rd option and it isn't clear how many minutes he will actually get.

Zach Randolph for me is the standout - dominates games when given the chance to, which sadly hasn't been the case in Portland (see Jermaine O'Neal too). Dez and Redd in Milwaukee should both put up numbers with TJ running the point and no Sam Cassell, Joe Johnson and Eddy Curry are two other names who I think could break out.
i think sir desmond's boy, desmond mason will win most improved. he is likely going to be the #1 or 2 option on their team and will get many touches, just like micheal redd. i don't think gooden will improve on his scoring much, but he will improve on his rebounding a lot.
I like Redd, he is a top shooter in the league, which is something that Mason is up and down with at times. Redd will score 15-20 ppg, the key is how well he can rebound and defend.
Might be tough for someone like Redd or Dez to win MIP cos they're already putting up around 15 and 5, so to go up to 20ppg might not be enough if someone like Curry or Randolph have a breakout season. I reckon Kwame Brown as a darkhouse too now that Jordan isn't in Washington anymore.
Mike Dunleavy - Will get a chance to start all season and looks good in the preseason. Next Larry Bird? Good D? Good Scorer? who knows! Eddy Curry - is so quick and so big. Who can stop him? Shaq? Yeah, only if shaq was quick. Eddy can run circles around him. Jamal Crawford - first season that he'll get a chance to start, he should be great this year. Looked g reat in the preseason. Honorable mentions: Drew Gooden Quentin Richardson Scot Pollard Tayshaun Prince I wouldn't say michael Redd, just because we know that he already can score and is already a good player.
