Name some players that are really Inconsistent. Me, off the top of my head i think Malik Allen i remember with the Heat some games he would be great, some games he would be horrible!
hmm...this is tough, Toine can be pretty inconsistent, as well as Eddie Jones even though it hurts me to say that.
Drew Gooden was so inconsistent last year it wasn't even funny. I had him in my fantasy team last year and he seriously kills me sometimes.
Quentin Richardson is very inconsistent. He is a streaky shooter and you never know how he is going to perform on the court. Some nights he could score 20 points and lead his team to victory and other nights he might score 5 points and miss tons of shots. He has been that way ever since he days with the Clippers.
I love Ben gordon but i got to admit the guy is pretty inconsistent one night he will drop 15 in the 4th quarter and then next night he will score 4 points in the whole game.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting The Manchurian Candidate:</div><div class="quote_post">I dont know really, Walker really let us down in ATL this year.</div> What you mean, Walker was putting up great numbers at Atlanta, he had to. I think the most inconsistant players are Rasheed Wallace, Zach Randolph, Theo Ratliff, Yao Ming, but I guess it depends what we're talking about being inconsitant, like not always playing with heart, or not putting up an average amount of numbers each game or what?
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">what we're talking about being inconsitant, like not always playing with heart, or not putting up an average amount of numbers each game or what?</div> By inconsistent I mean a player that has a tendency to have a streak of good games, and at the same time a streak of bad games. They cant find 1.
ginobili was on my fantasy team and was very inconsistent but i like the guy rashard lewis showed signs of inconsistency during beginning of season but then came back strong
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheTruth5:</div><div class="quote_post">By inconsistent I mean a player that has a tendency to have a streak of good games, and at the same time a streak of bad games. They cant find 1.</div> I understand that, but a player could put up great stats for 5 games in a row, then put up crap stats for 5 games in a row, and still have a good game for those 5 with bad stats. You know what I mean? Like Ben Wallace, you can look at his stats one game and he might have like 10 Points, 22 Rebounds, 3 Assists, 7 Blocks, then the next game he might have stats of 4 Points, 5 Rebounds, 0 Assists, 1 Block, but he might've still been a major defensive prescene (sp?) in that game.
Q..........he played quality basketball once or twice a week at the maximum for the Suns. Or in the case of the playoffs once or twice a month!!!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TmacGarnett:</div><div class="quote_post">ginobili was on my fantasy team and was very inconsistent but i like the guy </div> I have to disagree with you there. Manu is not that inconsistent, it's just that some nights the Spurs don't need much from him statistically. There is never a game that Manu doesn't contribute in a big way (when Healthy), just that sometimes you don't see it in the stat sheet. If any Spur deserves to be on this list it is Tony Parker. He can look like the best PG in the League for a few games and then completely disappear for a few games.
Quentin Richardson is high on this list. Also Drew Gooden, wow, wow, wow, he should be called my inconsistency along with Q-Rich. Manu's inconsistency came from when Duncan wasn't playing, he sucked a lot in those games except for like 3 against Atlanta and the Clippers twice.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Purple Fever:</div><div class="quote_post">Mike Miller.</div> Mike Miller is actually very consistent. Like every player, he has his off nights, but that doesn't mean he's inconsistent. His numbers can also fluctuate because of the ten man rotation that the Grizzlies run; afterall, he had to share playing time with Bonzi Wells these last two or so years. I remember that when Miller came into the league he was pretty inconsistent, but he's nothing like that anymore. As for inconsistent players, I'm surprised that no one has named Stromile Swift yet. I remember one season he averaged 21.2 ppg and 12.2 rpg over the span of six games and then averaged only 7.0 ppg and and 5.0 rpg over the next six games in pretty much the same playing time. He's inconsistent like this because he's so damn lazy. He'll even come right out and tell you that some nights he just doesn't feel motivated to play his hardest.
Chris Webber not consistent? He's one of the better players in terms of consistency if you ask me. He keeps his stats balanced nigh in & night out. Now as far as his stint with the 76ers, I can't argue for that but we all know what's going on with him over there. If you want inconstient, I'd suggest you look at Odom. Odom is not the most inconsitent player, but I think he deserved at least a mention. But then again I don't know if it's his fault in entirety because he is struggling to fine his role in L.A. I don't know. But a player that has no excuses and is indeed inconsistent is none other than Eddie Jones & Erick Dampier.
I agree about Webber, he was quite consistent on the Kings, maybe one of the better players in the league in that area. Erick Dampier is also one I forgot, he definately fluctuates like crazy.
