I'd say you have to include KG on this list although again I doubt hes gonna leave minnesota, you also have Jermaine O'neal, Rashard Lewis, Charlie V, Zach Randolph, etc.
- I thought Jermaine O'Neal would be traded, but the Lakers don't want to give up Bynum and Odom, so it's looking like it won't happen now.- Randolph needs to be dealt so the Blazers can develop Oden and Aldridge downlow. I still think they need to get the Hawks' 3rd pick for him so they can draft Conley, though I doubt it will happen. - Rashard Lewis will probably be involved in a sign and trade. I think Houston has the best chance with the package of Battier, the Rockets' 1st, and plus. Lewis will probably push for Houston, with it being his hometown.- Gasol stated if the Grizzlies do not improve, he will demand a trade. I do see the Grizzlies improving, but not enough to keep Gasol. I like Gasol and want him in Memphis, but his loyalty is starting to question me, and the front office too most likely, so he could possibly be dealt. I don't see any reason why the Lakers won't jump after him if the O'Neal deal doesn't workout.- Ron Artest - Many teams seem to be offering for him, but I see him going to Miami. I think they could package off Haslem and Wright + and get him, but that's only if they are trying to contend for another championship and not looking to rebuild a little bit. Another option is the Lakers of course.
Chris Duhon's days in Chicago are numbered. Management is not happy with him and it's no secret around the league that he will be moved.
- Corey Maggette wasn't happy last year, so he'll likely be shopped this summer.- Theo Ratliff and his valuable $11M expiring contract will more than likely be dealt this summer to get Pierce some veteran help.- [Insert Laker here].<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (redneck @ Jun 16 2007, 01:19 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Andrei Kirilenko will get traded. Rumors are floating around he'll be sent to Boston.</div>Eh, I honestly doubt we take on a contract like that for a player who just had his worst season of his career.
He's not likely to be traded, but I hope to see Travis Diener traded to some place that he can get playing time if Stan Van Gundy doesn't play him this year. He is easily a better point guard, and more talented than Carlos Arroyo is, and never got to play last year to prove it. He doesn't turn the ball over near as much, he plays better down the stretch, plays the best defense of any of the point guards on the roster, and has a better stroke than everyone but Redick on our team. Once again, I hope Van Gundy uses him and lets Arroyo get some bench, but with Arroyo's popularity in Orlando I don't see that happening, so Diener needs to be traded for his sake.
I don't know, I hear all these big names before every NBA offseason and nothing happens. Corey Maggette's been rumored out of LA since I started walking...etc...and I think this offseason will be completely overrated with few big trades. The only players I really think are leaving are Ron Artest and Rashard Lewis. Jermaine O'Neal I'm 50/50 on. Charlie Villanueva, Andrei Kirilenko, Pau Gasol, Zach Randolph, Kevin Garnett are not going anywhere.
I hope Pau Gasol gets traded. Hes one of the best big men in the league, but hes lost the majority of Grizzlies fans and frankly hes not a loyal player at all...I dont want him on my favorite team...its almost a disgrace that our best player is willing to bail out on us anytime now. I would love to have players like KG or Allen Iverson simply cause of their loyalty to their teams.
Jermaine O'Neal has to be traded, even he can't fix the mess up in Indiana. He needs to either go to Boston and hopefully reunite with Rick Carslisle, or go to L.A. and play for Phil Jackson.

Portland needs to let Aldridge and Oden develop in the post, if they want to start Oden, they'd be forced to put a lineup like this:SF RandolphPF AldridgeC OdenBesides, even if Randolph hasn't acted up recently, you still really wouldn't want that guy disturbing Greg Oden's development.

Their's nothing wrong with having that great 3-man rotation, hell, if one of them gets hurt, they have the other to lean on. LaMarcus Aldridge had a nice stretch of games for about a month, but it's not like they absolutely need to start him.
They have a hole at the 3 spot...trade Randolph for somebody like...Vince Carter...and New Jersey needs a scoring big anyways.

Just because they don't have a stud at SF doesn't mean it's a huge hole. Ugh, Vince Carter.
but when you have 3 starter caliber big men, and not so good 3s..its almost ideal to trade one of them for a 3. Not to mention Zach Randolph isnt the best person in the lockeroom.

Kidd has threatened to demand a trade if Carter isn't a Net next season. So, the only player the Nets will be able to trade to get a good big man is Jefferson, who I don't think the Nets want to trade at all. But, if the Nets were to trade him, he would be a nice fit for the Blazers IMO. It won't happen though.
Not saying he didnt say that, but I hadnt read that. Vince Carter was just a suggestion...but trading Randolph is probably best to just get a worthy 3 in Portland.

It's the NBA, there's a good chance one of them will get hurt, I'd rather have that on my side than adding another SF, which is a much easier position to fill. It seems like common sense to me.
BluffCityBlue, you seem to forget the Nets already have Nenad Krstic. The guy was injured all year, and he's their scoring big... and he's still improving. Jason Collins is used for defense, and defense only. Besides, Ime Udoka is a nice addition at SF for them. He brings hustle and defense.
