<div class="quote_poster">Montaman Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">LeBron James, as talented as he is, seems to be prone to the ever-dangerous bout of uninterest. People also seem to hail him as the best player in the NBA, which I suppose would make him overrated, even as good as he is. For all my violent dislike of Kobe Bryant, I can't argue that he's the league's top offensive talent, and he's no slouch shutting down other guards, either.

Tony Parker is severely overrated, in my opinion. He's lauded for his field goal percentage, his speed, his finals MVP award last year- but he's the purest example of a system guard I think you'll find in today's NBA. Playing in a strict, authoritarian system, he puts up good numbers season after season, but he's not a 50% FG guy with Tim Duncan, he's not a Finals MVP without Tim Duncan, he's not even an All-Star or a champion without Tim Duncan. In fact, I think Duncan should've won the Finals MVP on principle. He's been carrying that team for almost a decade.</div>

Tony Parker is a great player with or without Duncan IMO. The way he gets to the lane and finishes with or without Duncan on the court proves how effective he is... dont get me wrong playing with Duncan does not hurt but he cant be penalized either..

<div class="quote_poster">Chutney Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">The numbers don't lie though. Bosh is one of the more efficient offensive players in the league and is only getting better. The part about him not looking comfortable when everyone knows he's getting the ball is true to an extent, but has a lot more to do with coaching. Bosh is actually a bit easier to guard because of Mitchell's predictable playcalling and he covers up for the Raptors' simplistic offensive gameplan. I'd take him over Antawn Jamison, Shawn Marion, Stephon Marbury, Jermaine O'Neal, and Joe Johnson now and over a hell of a lot more of those max-contract players over the next couple years.</div>
I can understand everyone else but I think Shawn Marion earns his money. I would definitely take him now over Bosh. In terms of the future of course I would take Bosh, but I think Marion is <u>currently</u> better than Bosh.

Marion is more athletic then Bosh, but Bosh is more clutch. When I see Marion shoot, I don't want him too. Bosh is a guy who you can give the ball to late in the game, and he can win it for you. I'm with Chutney, Bosh over Marion now and in the future.

I'm... um... I'm goshed by Bosh! There we go.

Marion is a multi-skilled forward with a noted ego problem who gets it done despite the ugliest jumpshot in the league.

Chris Bosh is as polished at 23 as most NBA PFs are in their prime. It's gonna be him and Dwight duking it out for the next decade.

As far as PF/C go, yes it will be them. They have so much potential and they are so young. I hope they meet one day in the ECF, and duke it out. However, Dwight will have to hope he doesn't face the Raptors every time because...Oh, I won't start this[IMG]

It's Vince Carter, alot of average fans believe him to be one of the best in the NBA, this is far from true. He gets alot of his points off of Kidd creating a shot for him. Last year we saw a couple moments where he delivired in the clutch, but when it mattered in the playoffs, he couldn't deliver and it forced Kidd/Jefferson to take a bigger role. Carter completely fell apart in the playoffs, his jumper wasn't falling and that clearly got into his head. He's still has no problem scoring the ball but by no means does he deserve that perennial all-star appereance which he mainly gets because of his dunking ability.

I've never really gotten the appeal of Carter. I guess being a Warriors fan, I never thought he was a particularly better dunker than Richardson was, nor did I feel like he cared as much about the game, so I guess I tuned him out.
