On current form Cristiano Ronaldo is the best footballer in the world but overall Wayne Rooney is without doubt the best footballer in the world. Ronaldinho is good but goes missing in the big games and Henry always goes missing in the big games. Rooney without doubt will be just as great as Pele and Maradona if not greater and I hope Liverpool fans give credit where its due and acknowlege that Man Utd right now have the greatest footballer in the world since Maradona. Sir Bobby Robson has said Rooney is the greatest talent he has seen in the last 40 years and i agree so please ackowlege and give credit where its due if you truly love the beautiful game
i think potential needs to go infront of talent in your paragraph there because hes lost his form and his talent isnt shining through and is looking a little ordinary atm, we all know hes going to be, he just needs to get his form back first
Rooney is definantly not the most talented player in the world (that honor would have to go to Kaka) but Rooney is defenantly talented and has the potential to be the most talented player in the world and saying Henry doesn't show up the for the big games is such BS, who came up big against both Brazil and Man U?
To be honest I reckon Kaka as the most talented player in the game today. I admire the guys ability even though he did put Celtic out of the Champions League last 16.
Haha. Rooney is no where near the best footballer in the world. If you said C.Ronaldo i would understand but i cannot see why people think wayne rooney is great. He is good and im glad he plays for us but he isnt going to be the worlds best.
