Underrated Player I think the most underrated player in the NBA is Paul Pierce. Hes good and stuff, but no one gives him that much respect or attention.
He gets plenty of respect. At least when the Celtics are doing well. When the Celtics got to the ECF it was all about Pierce.

Everyone says Pierce at least as good as Carter or better, he's just no a super popular guy, but no one underattes him, you ask for top 5 SG's and people will likely have him as 3rd or 4th.
I dont know I think he is underated for a reason for one thing realisticaly can you really compare him to Kobe Ai and Tmac......no he is not on there level and people like Carter get a free ride for fame because they are walking highlight reels. But Pierce doesnt have the the move set the personallity or the talent to be on there level and we have to face it he has hit his prime and he really wont get better then he was before which really shows that his stats are dropping so its not like we can say well you never know he is still young but the stats and his body will just start aging and will soon enough just slow him down. The most underated player in the league would have to be Tim Duncan with all the fame Shaq and Kg get he gets left alone and gets barely noticed yea he does go in the medias eye and the players do respect him but you have to notcie that kg and shaq get more attention then Duncan and he still can be the best player in the NBA(arguably) but all while he is still doesnt get the attention that others like him do.

This Carter bashing is getting out of hand. The most underrated player in the league is Donyell Marshall. Never has someone had THAT good a season and played that well over a stretch of games and gotten absolutely no credit for it. Its ridicolous. Its also weird seeing Raptor fans so eager to trade the guy.. why? If he plays anywhere near where he played last year he'll be an extremely valuable asset to us.

well paul pierce was entering the kobe, tmac, possibly vince (if u believe in hype) echelon but then when the US team did miserably at the world championships he along with george karl shouldered most of the blame for it. and i do agree, pierce is a much better player than vince, if the raps could ever bamboozle pierce away from the celtics (which isn't that hard to do with ainge as gm) for vince i would be the happiest dude in the gta. And the most underrated player in the league is elton brand, that dude might be the second best low post player behind shaq and he?s so unassuming in the league.
Trenton Hassell, Elton Brand, and James Posey. Trenton Hassell did so much for the T-Wolves last season. His defense was amazing. He guarded Melo, Peja, and Kobe in the playoffs last year and did a very nice job at that. When asked to make a bucket, he can step up and do it. One of the best perimeter defenders in the league. And the man only got 1 vote for defensive teams, if I'm not mistaken. Someone check me on that, I might be wrong. And James Posey put up very nice stats, but got no credit. I think Posey deserves a lot more credit. And how did Brand not get invited to the All-Star game last season? I understand he missed some games but he definitely deserved to be there. He's among the elite in poweforward and gets no respect. Hassell, Brand, and Posey all deserve more credit for what they do.
eric snow is pretty underated...but since the trade hes been getting alotta attention ummmm i really cant think of any rite now
I think Ricky Davis is under rated he comes off then bech in Boston and he averages almost 15 ppg,and no body really talks about him. Other player that are under rated,AK 47,Quentin Richardson,and Joe Johnson.
Brad Miller. I Really Don't see How people don't give Miller the credit he is due.he's one of the Best Centers in the game,and yet people don't give him his just due(not in my opinon anyways)He's Really Talented,and He's one of the reason's why the Kings are a great team!
Joe Johnson. I don't know what I was doing but I went and saw his ppg and I was expecting him to average like 10 points or something but when I saw it ws like 19 or something like that I thought that someone had made a mistake because I hadn't heard about him nearly all season.
Jamal Magloire- Hes one of the top centers in the league Elton Brand- very talented, shouldve made all-star game but he isnt recognized just cuz hes on the clippers. Corey Maggete-again underrated because hes on the Clippers. Quentin Richardson- Again hes on the clippers at least he was. Brad Miller- I think hes under rated just cuz theres a lot of "stars on his team. A lot of clippers players are under rated just because they were the crappiest team in the West last year.

Tim Duncan isn't really underrated, he just doesn't really get that much attention. Ask anyone in the league about Tim and they're gonna tell you he's one of the best big men to play the game. He's just not a guy that draws attention to himself, which is just fine. He's one of my favorite players because he's quiet and just does what he always does, which is dominate. As for most underrated, that would be Brad Miller. You never hear about the guy, but he is an outstanding center. Sure people say "Brad Miller, the all star center" when they talk about him, but that's basically the extent of it. Compare him to all the other centers in the game, and he's at least top 5.
quintin richardson hes so damn good come one. elton brand he would be a allstar in the east maggete look at his numbers from last year. anyone who plays on the clippers will be underrated lol
