I hate to read these things. They are so far fetched and would never happen. Everything I read goes something along these lines... Lets trade all of our overpriced and over rated garbage for somebody else's superstar... It is never going to happen. Now trade rumors are interesting to talk about but most rumors you hear never happen anyways. All in favor of banning trade ideas say aye! AYE!
I agree. They should at least be posted in the Warriors Trade Thread, so those who don't want them, can avoid reading them.
I tend not to even open up those threads anymore but some people do enjoy making up their own creative threads. There is nothing wrong with a little wishful thinking, no matter how far off they may be.

There's a thread called Warrior's Trade Thread that's stickied ... why not just keep them in there, this way people who want to talk trade or read ideas can just go there, and those who aren't interested can avoid it.

Trade threads are okay,some are pretty sensible some are not but what here is not all opinion? Nobody has to read through any thread on any topic. In these threads some see Dunleavy or Foyle or whoever as scrap to dump,Others figure Dale Davis still has market value-still if you look at "rumours" sections on major websites there are always deals "being discussed" that typically have the Knicks getting a few top stars for whoever they want to dump...and that comes from NY newspapers,usualy the Post. I have been thinking up dream deals for the Warriors for many years and many were good,but now the cap issues and a more speculative draft make deals pretty complicated
Well we are screwed cap and talent wise. We signed low talent/marginal upside for big dollars. That's hard to trade. BTW what do you guys think of a thread specifically made for "avatar/signature" design? This way you can make requests to the Warrior community and if somebody wants to make an avatar or a sig they know which one to make? I'm still sporting my Brian Cardinal one even after he got signed by the Grizzlies and he's not doing too well. If they hadn't overpaid for him, I bet he'd still be here. The guy was exciting to watch because he was just all over the place and did the things that we badly needed like pressure defense and outside shooting and free throws.
