On Sportscenter they had a six question interview with an ESPN magazine writer. They asked him where Mourning will be next season and he said if Jason Kidd goes to San Antonio then Mourning will too. If Kidd stays in New Jersey then Mourning will sign with Dallas. What does everyone make of this? I think this will bring a smile to several Spurs fan's faces. I know there was a lot of talk about Kidd not being wanted because a Center would be more needed. Well, it looks like you might be getting a two for one deal. Now if both players do sign with the Spurs then I have a question. Will they be able to challenge the Lakers? clearly theyll have a splendid chance to beat the lakers. they did last year and they may end up the more improved team at the end of the offseason. its so funny how people are saying how bad a team with tim duncan needds a big man

Then you can get a good Shooting Guard or Small Forward by trading Parker. I am shocked that you would call one of the five greatest players in the league a waste of cap.

It be far better to have Zo guarding Shaq.
how much weaker can the east get? too bad the lakers or spurs can't switch conferences so they can face off in the finals with all these marquee players. this has to be disheartening to the rest of the teams seeing the best get better. it's like an arms race in the western conference. zo and kidd instantly improve the spurs and they will definately challenge the lakers. *note the lakers are trying to work a sign and trade for payton to get him more money. the spurs and lakers are letting everyone know they want to win now, the great teams take any chance they can to improve their team. this is a win now league and it's near impossible to get better by developing a team anymore. kidd vs. payton gino vs. kobe bowen vs. george duncan vs. malone zo vs. shaq you have to give the edge to the spurs 3-2 and the spurs will have a better bench. the west is going to be nuts next year.
