I was never overjoyed with the Maggette signing, but I wasn't exactly against it at first. But man, this signing is just looking worse and worse by the day. Now not only do we have a selfish, low-%, volume shooter who is a poor role model, but we have an untradeable one too because of the injury. I was hoping for a Maggette trade (or at least contract dump) but I don't see how that can happen now.

Well, we were able to trade Harrington with his injury, but that was because he is an expiring contract either this year, or next if he takes Player Option.

Mags, well he's a different story. Is there anyone out there as foolish as Rowell is, to think "Oh, this is a guy who can get to the foul line and make freethrows, that's something we don't have" kind of bullshit... well, not likely, but it's possible. Let's pray so. Otherwise, we have 5 years of no POs with Mags...

I told you he's damaged goods. Maggette has always been injury prone, but now that he's older it takes him longer to recover from nagging injuries.
