My boys in blue snagged the first ever at-large bid for a Sun Belt school!In what was essentially the conference championship game, MT (6-0 conference record at the time) lost to Troy State (5-1 at the time) in dramatic fashion with Troy making a spectacular comeback from being down 20-7 to finish with a tie for the Sun Belt championship, Troy getting the nod for head-to-head. You'll get no argument from most Sun Belt teams about who the better team was over the course of the season, but Troy really showed up that game, and that's when it mattered most. Congrats to them.Meanwhile, MTSU will head to Detroit to play the MAC champions Central Michigan in the Motor City Bowl. And I'm planning on making the trip up there
