The Department of Justice’s special counsel investigation and the congressional probes into Russia’s election meddling are beginning to butt heads, according to CNN. The news network in a report published Tuesday describes an anecdote in which the special counsel, which is lead by former FBI director Robert Mueller, tried to obtain a transcript from the Senate Intelligence Committee of an interview with Paul Manafort, President Trump’s former campaign chairman.
