Yeah, a $10million bonus seems excessive. They did the right thing for the good of the team. They'll probably try to re-sign him, but I doubt he'll go back. Someone will back up the money truck for him... Maybe the Vikings? They have the cap room.

Damnit. I think you're lucky BF1, hes a damn good WR, I would have loved to have him as an addition to the Falcons next year.

Atlanta is the last place he would want to go....Why would any productive WR want to go to a place where his catches and yards will drop, his TDs will disappear, where the QB cant get it to him, and the fans and media will blame the WR?....Thats career suicide....

Unlike Chicago which is a passing haven, where more TDs rain from the sky then flakes of snow? Old reciever that doesnt run well is not what the bears needed at that price, that is why i am more than willing to ship him out.

Man, I cant wait until Vick starts passing the way he CAN pass. Its going to happen, and when it does WRs are going to want to come to Atlanta no questions asked. Until then say what you want, but we will see.

I can understand a concern about the ammount of guaranteed money they are giving an aging WR who isnt fast, buts hes never been fast and hes always been productive....Hes not a guy that relies on athleticism to beat opponents anyway....It is a lot of money, but hes a productive guy....
