I really love that band...I worked out a version of Everybody Wants to Rule the World over the pandemic on guitar...great songwriters.

 

That's really interesting. I loved that song, as well. I was also a bit mesmerized by a song/video by a-ha during that same era. That whole MTV "genre" was pretty enlightening - to say the least.

 

Think of the up side of what's going on for me. Those of you who have the misfortune of attending my funeral (an invitation is not necessary, solemn faces are requested and tears would count as bonus points) are stuck with listening to my music selections - Bummer

 

As I remember, you post some great music in this thread. I can't imagine anyone being bummed by your selection of tunes.

I love the accent of the singer. It gives this cover a very interesting sound.

 

That concert was amazing! And the acoustics were top-notch, as well! Snuggled in next to a rock quarry!
