    I was thinking Rose or LeBron for awhile now, but I have to say that it looks like Kobe is sneaking into the conversation. He's playing terrifically with a killer's mentality and his team is 14-1 since the AS break. If I'm voting right now, I go:

    1. Kobe
    2. Rose
    3. LeBron
    4. D. Howard
    5. ??? Durant? Aldridge?

    Fuck K*be

    Aldridge isn't close to being MVP now that Roy is back. It's amazing what his numbers have done since Brandon's return

    His numbers have tanked since Gerald Wallace joined the team.

    Watch the games, Roy Basher. Brandon played 17 minutes tonight.

    Rose is the MVP, and if he doesn't win it, it's a travesty.

    I actually agree with you about Rose. I watch the games though, and when Roy is in the game, Aldridge touches seem to go down.

    While Id love to say Kobe I cant. ...Derrick Rose is MY exact definition of a MVP. He quite possibly get the Bulls the best recor with Boozer and Noah out for a whole lotta games.

    I knew Kobe was gonna win MVP the year he did cause that was his last chance. The Lakers had Gasol for the last third of the year and no way could Kobe win an MVP when he had someone like Gasol helping him.

    Kobe= Best player
    Rose = MVP

    Do you still think Kobe is the best player? seems like he's lost a step.

    I think Dwight is the MVP. He scores almost as much as Rose with better efficiency out rebounds and plays way better D then him. Without Dwight the Magic are a way overpriced Lotto team.

    No chance

    and I DO believe Kobe is still the best....He has lost a step for sure but if you take his entire package he is still the most ruthless killer in the NBA

    The whole reason Kobe plays hurt is because he knows the Lakers would actually be better without him and his mystique would vanish down the toilet.

    Hard to argue that when you see what happened in the final minute of the third OT vs the suns and the final two minutes when we played the Lakers. He just wouldn't be denied.

    Rose had 30 points and 17 assists last night. Chicago has lost 3 times since the ASB, with win streaks of 3, 8, and 4 (and counting).

    I think Rose is going to win it big.

    I'm hoping Rose won't get MVP just so I can see Mike have a meltdown on PTI.

    Rose is going to win it big, I don't think he should be the one to win it but he will win in a landslide. The MVP doesn't go to the most deserving player anymore, it goes to the person the media is in love with. Actually its kind of been like that for awhile, there are so many good players that it really seems to come down to who the media likes the most.
    If Westbrook was talked about as much as Rose and shown on as many highlight reels then imo he would be the one to win it. The Media is in love with Rose for a good reason, but that really colors how the vote is gonna go.
