I was 9 or 10 years old, I got taken to my first game, Brighton v Liverpool at Brighton Goldstone Ground, must have been about 1976. I remember walking through the turnstile, then up steps onto a standing terrace - the moment i remember most clearly was the pitch and ever so slowly appearing, it looked magical..When the first goal went in, i remember looking around for a screen to see the replay! It ended 4 - 2 to liverpool (I forgot the score at half time i was so excited)
