Stop me if you?ve heard this one /writer: Dwight Jaynes

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Who needs Letterman or Leno when life writes such funny material? I mean, it doesn?t get any funnier than some of this stuff:
? Maurice Cheeks benches Zach Randolph for playing ?too much one-on-one.? Come on, guys, you?re killing me. That?s hilarious. Seriously, take the Blazer offense, please.
What exactly is Randolph asked to do most of the time, by design of the offense? Play one-on-one. They dump the ball into Randolph, everyone stands around open on the outside while he tries his best to score with his variety of low-post moves. Why are these players open on the outside?
Because they can?t make shots, so other teams won?t guard them! Instead, they double-team Randolph.
Does anyone really blame him for not wanting to pass to his ineffective teammates? He?s just as tired of watching them miss shots as you are.
It?s incredible that people actually buy into the concept that Randolph is the reason for this team?s failures. A bunch of underachievers point the finger at the team?s only legitimate candidate for the all-star team ? and some of the media buys into it?
? Maurice Cheeks as a disciplinarian? Ha! Ha! Ha! Again, funny stuff. This is his fourth season trying to figure out exactly what style he wants to play and what the hallmark of his team is ? and he still hasn?t found it. Are they a running team or a half-court team? Are they a defensive team? And, if so, in the half court or with full-court presses and traps? Nobody knows ? least of all Cheeks, who sits on the sidelines chatting with fans.
One thing we all know by now is that the inmates are running that asylum over in the Rose Garden. It?s ridiculous to think Cheeks? inability to coach certain players could affect who the team decides to deal. Just because Cheeks can?t put these pieces together doesn?t mean a better coach couldn?t.
? Kobe Bryant is said to be very upset with Karl Malone for supposedly flirting with his wife. This guy Bryant is blurring the edges of tragedy and comedy. You don?t know whether to laugh at him or feel sorry for him.
First, whether Malone did anything untoward or not, Bryant was a complete fool to ever go public with any of it. Second, am I the only one who finds it ironic that Bryant would be so anxious to uphold his wife?s honor? Yeah, Kobe ? as if you respect her so much.
And finally, there is a school of thought in Los Angeles that Bryant?s wife, Vanessa, orchestrated all this as simply public humiliation for Kobe ? another blow in an ongoing campaign to strike back at him for his Colorado transgression.
    Now that?s funny.</div>

    And again: <font size="7">Rebuild,Rebuild,Rebuild the roster now!</font>

The Roster is already in the Rebuilding Process...Randolph is the cornerstone, with Miles, Ratliff and Telfair there. They hope Outlaw can be part of their core as well. Also with their 2 Euro Players from this years draft, this team could be something in a few years when and if Telfair explodes and Miles gets the full time starting job.
