...turned out pretty well. It's a 14 team league and I drafted #3 overall. The top two picks were Manning and Tomlinson...I took Shaun Alexander at #3.

We start three WR's, two RB's and a TE in this league. My receivers are pretty weak overall, but I think the group as a whole has a lot of upside. I'm hoping McCardell, Toomer or Stallworth has a bounceback year. If one of them does, I should be set.

Here's how the draft turned out for me...

    QB - Jake Delhomme
    QB - Eli Manning
    RB - Shaun Alexander
    RB - Kevin Jones
    RB - Fred Taylor
    RB - JJ Arrington
    WR - Donald Driver
    WR - Nate Burleson
    WR - Keenan McCardell
    WR - Donte Stallworth
    WR - Braylon Edwards
    WR - Amani Toomer
    TE - Tony Gonzales
    K - Josh Brown
    D - Chicago

Amani Toomer might be a bad pick because last year he hardly found the endzone. Stallworth could have a great next year.

I actually took Toomer in the 13th round. I've been reading on ESPN that he's been looking good in camp. I guess he played hurt all last year and that's why his numbers were down.

I also read that they're moving him to the slot and the change is actually part of the reason he's been looking so good.

We'll see if he pans out or not.

O i thought u might have picked him earlier. Well that was probly a good pick in round 13 because he probly isnt gonna have a good year, but there is a chance that he might have a big year.

Do you know what round Steve Smith went in?

Burleson will be your surprise pick this year. Word from camp is that he is looking extremely good, will be the solid #1 for the whole year, and could become the #1 redzone threat. Expect 1,000 yards and possibly 10 TD's from him this year.

    Here's the complete draft:
    http://www.kennhoekstra.com/draft_results.html

I am "The KISS Army." I took Alexander, Jones, Gonzalez, Driver, Burleson, Taylor, Arrington...and on and on.

You'll notice some "homer" picks in the first few rounds...Tom Brady in Round 1, Jason Witten in Round 2 and maybe Tatum Bell in Round 3. Despite that, everyone ended up with a pretty good team.

Note: I hate the guy who somehow ended up with Willis McGahee AND Ahman Green! WTF???
