It was not immediately clear how Stoudamire's latest arrest would affect that agreement. Calls to Stoudamire's attorney, Steve Houze, were not returned. Mike Hanson, Blazers spokesman, said he could not comment. "I'm still trying to gather facts myself. It would be premature for me to make a statement," he said. Earlier in 2002, Stoudamire was charged with a felony after police found a large bag of marijuana in his home while responding to a burglar alarm. A judge declared the search illegal, but prosecutors are appealing. Stoudamire is attending summer school at the University of Arizona and working toward a degree in media arts, with a minor in sports broadcasting. Whats wrong with having a bit of weed. He obviously doesnt smoke it to occasionally because the NBA has drug tests.
things always come in threes. this is becoming a pr nightmare for the nba and david stern. what i don't understand is how damon constantly violates his probation, but isn't in jail yet. i hope he doesn't go down for weed possession and i respect him for trying to finish his college degree. but at this rate he's going to be out of league for violating their drug policy.
