I was reading an article about Kobe Bryant about two months ago and the author talked about how he got his interview with Kobe. He contacted Kobe's marketing agency, Zambezi Ink and spoke with one of people that worked for Kobe. So I figured, if he could do it, why can't I? So I emailed them and asked if I could interview Kobe when he came to Orlando and a woman emailed me back and she basically said she would do what she could and to send her an email pinpointing the day I wanted the interview. So I told her February 7, 2008, since the Lakers play the Magic the following day. Turns out Kobe is doing an event at the Amway Arena where he'll be getting a key to the city on that day and she said if I can be there at 5:30, I would get some one on one time with him after the ceremony is over. So that's where we stand today. This thread is for the members to post some questions and I'll pick some of them to ask Kobe. I'm not promising that everyone's question will get picked, just the one's I think are best and I can fit into the conversation. Also, I wanted to especially take some of shapecity's question because he was the guy who got me my first credentials to a Magic game so this is my way of returning the favor. Alright guys, ask away.
When you see your teammates airball a game winning shot like Lamar did in Detroit, or when Luke didn't even get the shot up against Cleveland, how do you feel when the buzzer sounds and what is the locker room like after that? Whenever Javaris gets some playing time, it seems like you make it a point to go over to him and give him a high five, same when he's coming out of the game. How would you evaluate the talent of Javaris Crittenton and how does he perform in practice? It

I'll add a question with Did you miss Shaq after he got traded?
Kobe's my favorite player and everything, but he's so PC these days. Most of my questions would generate some bland response; now if you were talking to Charles Barkley or someone like that I could unleash my real thoughts. But Mamba seems to have the right angle covered at least.
Here are mine: 1. Who would you be willing to trade to get Jason Kidd on your team? 2. Which player do you think was snubbed from the Allstar game, or do you think they got all the selections right? 3. If you could play with any player in their prime from any era, which player would it be?

Ask him this: Kobe, would you consider playing for a team in Europe if that team was offering you half the money you're getting now? (if say you were a free agent)

Hey Swish, it's good to have you back man! My Question: What are some things that makes a player such as yourself get to the level you're at? We all know hard work, and tons of practice are obvious, but what have you done personally that got you to where you are today.
Did Roscoe's Chicken and Waffle House inspire your latest Nike Basketball Shoe Design? When's the last time you had road rage on the 5 Freeway? What did the other person do when they realized you were the one driving the car? What show do you miss the most on TV with the writer strike going on in LA? How would you solve the strike? Is "passion buckets" part of your every day vocabulary now? Do your daughters use the term? Does your wife?
Nice to see you back Swish. 1) Compare this team's roster to the roster of the past two seasons. What are the differences and how far do you expect this team to go at full strength? 2) Explain your relationship with Andrew Bynum, and the other young players on this roster. How do you guys interact, and do you push them to be their best? Also, what role does Derek Fisher play with the youngsters, and how much do you guys interact? 3) What are some of the things the players do on the road to interact with each other? Given how close this roster seems to be. 4) Whenever this Lakers team loses a close game, do the players feel just as angry, or even more angry than the fans? And how do you deal with such heartbreaking losses, individually and as a team. 5) Besides Derek Fisher, who is the player you spend the most time with? And who is the funniest teammate? Who is the most boring?
How does it feel like to be the best basketball player in the world? Do you see the Warriors as any kind of threat in the Western Conference?
Congrats on the opportunity, Swish. You're a lucky man. Q: You've said some good things about Jordan Farmar this year, and what he brings off the bench for the team. What has been the biggest improvement you've noticed in his game between the end of last year's rookie season to now?
